What Gene loves the most is helping people.
POINT founder Gene Reich has built an entire career by guiding thousands of companies to reach their potential. Whether simplifying workflows, boosting technology, or providing stellar customer support, Gene and his team at POINT execute incredible transformations for numerous companies to help them overcome their biggest obstacles, boost productivity, and increase revenue.
However, all of Gene’s successes can be traced back to one favor he granted his friend.
Freshly living in New York City and armed with his Computer Science degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, Gene faced a unique challenge. His friend approached him with a record producer looking to switch over his studio to the latest Apple Hardware, as only some at the time were skilled enough to manage the Apple technology properly. Wanting to be supportive of his friend, Gene took on the job and quickly discovered his aptitude for managing Apple products.
Shortly after this experience, Gene realized he could turn his desire to assist others into a unique opportunity to start his own business. Instead of going into the typical corporate jobs his peers were clambering to get, Gene realized the best way to satisfy his goals was for him to be his own boss and build his own business from scratch at just 25 years old. Gene then committed to learning how to run his company best and help enterprises operate optimally. He soon discovered that his talents were in high demand.
In 2005, POINT was born. Gene built his team from IT veterans who are experts in upgrading cybersecurity, organization, and overall efficiency. As POINT grew, Gene soon discovered that helping businesses reach their potential isn’t only about your ability to manage the ones and zeros of the companies.
Having to build his own company also gave Gene the unique opportunity to work in every part of his business, from marketing to management and getting his hands dirty in tech operations. Doing all these different roles allowed him to better communicate with his team and help other businesses improve communication between employee roles within their companies.
Gene also stresses the importance of working with genuine people. With improved interactions, communication, and a focus on building relationships, Gene made it a centerpiece for POINT to create a company culture that allows real connections to thrive. By having genuine moments, these collaborations lead to the ability to overcome any challenges that they face in front of them.
Today, Gene is still driven by his desire to help others. As POINT continues to thrive, it also sharpens its problem-solving skills and discovers new innovative ways to assist businesses in achieving their goals.
Whatever heights a client wants to reach, Gene and his team at POINT are always ready to help companies soar.
